FAQs
At what age should my child start seeing a dentist?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends “First Visit by First Birthday.” Establishing a “dental home” early allows us to monitor development from the very first tooth and helps your child feel comfortable in the dental environment before any actual treatment is ever needed.
Are dental X-rays really necessary for children?
Yes! While we keep X-rays to a minimum, they are the only way to see what’s happening beneath the surface. They allow us to spot cavities forming between teeth, check for missing or extra adult teeth, and monitor the health of the bone things that are impossible to see with the naked eye.
How can I help my child avoid cavities at home?
Consistency is key! We recommend brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and flossing once a day. Limiting sticky snacks (like fruit snacks or gummies) and sugary juices is also vital. The best way to prevent cavities is to pair great home habits with professional check-ups every six months.

By keeping kids engaged and distracted, we create a stress free environment where parents can actually breathe easy.
